Disney World Vacations 2019 - Top Ten Things You Need to Know

Disney World just announced that packages for 2019 will be opening on June 19, 2018.  Get excited, friends!  A whole new year of magic is about to be available for the taking!  And what a year it will be.  I've broken down the info for you below - Take a look and let me know what questions you have!  As always, I'd love to help you book your Disney Vacation - email me!  Katie@HiHoVacations.com.

10. Book early for best pricing.  Time and time again we see that early booking BEATS discounted pricing later.  And if it doesn't, we'll apply the discount.  Hi Ho Planners price monitor so this happens without any work on your part - you just get the savings! Note: We can book a maximum of 499 days in advance - November and December bookings will be available as June and July progress.

9. $200 down is all it takes. Packages require $200 deposit per room - the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to travel.  Payments are accepted whenever you wish, but aren't required!

8. SUPER Flexible.  Packages can be modified, dates moved, or even cancelled with no penalty outside the 30 day final payment window.

7. Availability is best the earlier you book!  This is true for rooms and room types, restaurants, and fastpasses.  Booking early gives you the best options for your vacation.  And extra days to look forward to the magic!

6. Disney World has some exciting things in store for 2019!! Toy Story Land will be open, the new Star Wars area will be open in LATE FALL 2019, and your favorites... Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival, the Candlelight Processional and more will be back again!
5.  Did I mention Star Wars?  Yep, Galaxy's Edge will open in 2019 with TWO NEW Star Wars attractions in addition to Star Tours and the Launch Bay that are currently there.  Don't forget you can also meet my friend Chewbacca along with some bad guys in the Launch Bay as well.

4. Universal Studios will likely open around the same time.  Disney and Universal have a love/hate relationship and I'd expect Universal to follow suit.  Whether you want a Disney Vacation with a little Universal thrown in, or a Universal Vacation with a little Disney thrown in, its a good time to check out all of these amazing parks in Orlando.  I can help with any of these options as well as Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Sea World, Discovery Cove and more.

3. Anticipation makes the trip sweeter!  According to the Huffington Post, "Plan ahead. If you want a happy vacation, check spontaneity at the door. Our new research revealed that the best - and happiest - vacations for 90 percent of people were those planned more than one month in advance. Planning ahead reduces stress and increases the opportunity to anticipate the getaway."  They also remind you that planning is the most stressful part of the vacation, and "In our study, 74 percent find the most stressful aspect of travel to be figuring out the details: travel uncertainty, transportation, wasting time figure things out on the trip, and being unfamiliar with the location. Instead of suffering, ask for help. Find a good travel agent to plan some of this for you."  At Hi Ho, we agree. :)

2. Consider a group getaway!  Taking a large group is easier than ever with technology and tools to plan both together and separately.  My job as a planner is to make this seamless.  Take along your neighbors, siblings, parents, and grandkids.  Once you see the pictures and make those memories, you'll be glad you did.

1. Stay inside the magic.  When it comes to Disney World, many of you have heard me say that staying on site makes a huge difference.  From service to convenience, this is one area that skimping isn't the way to go.  Transportation couldn't be easier, and if something goes wrong, Disney will make it right.  Be in the parks early, enjoy complimentary Magic Bands, Book your dining, fastpasses, and special events before anyone else.  This one is worth it, friends.

Call me today - let's get YOUR 2019 vacation on the books and enjoy the planning!
